Movie Buff strikes again

Remember the movie themed birthday party I was planning for my movie buff hubby? You can see the invitations here. Well, its progressing very well. Thank you for asking :)

I am working on these vintage style 'Admit One' cupcake wrappers. And aren't these vintage clapper cupcake toppers cute?

Tying up some loose ends (literally) for some pending birthday orders. Will be back soon with a new post!

House warming gift boxes (which is not a espresso machine)

How many times have we all ended up with one too many espresso machines and cushion covers we don't  like ? The spoils of a House Warming Party.

Sure people have moved onto registries and gift vouchers. But lets be honest it lacks the joy of a nice gift box.

So now you can present people with the best of both worlds... presenting the personalised house gift box!

I came up with these for a client who wanted to gift a miniature version of her cousins house to her. she filled up the gift box with shopping vouchers, gift cards, and candy.

Was that a collective awwwhhh? Yes, I agree?:)

Can be customised to individual houses or apartments. Fill it with a gift card and some goodies, and you'll find your host grinning ear to ear seeing the miniature version of their house!

The Little Diva

I have a niece. And she would give the Kardashian and Hilton clan a run for their money. She's all out on matching her pants with her shoes.

By the way, did I mention she's 4 years old? :)

This is a birthday party invitation card which was designed when she turned 2 years old. They had a Favourite Things birthday theme and this card was absolutely the Talk of the Party.

Tulle, pearl, pink - never goes out of style :)

Dads are special (on every day of the year)

Growing up, Daddy was our super-hero. The one who bought KitKats back home and said the cashier at the supermarket just 'happened' to have an extra one to spare. He was the one who urged me to write when I began to blog. He's also the one these days who tries to 'explain' to Mummy some of the gifts I make on the website. Well, most of the humour on the gift tags I design escapes my poor mother :)

Another Father's Day is here! The internet is abuzz with Father's Day articles, posts and tips to jazz up the special day.

This is a Father's Day Candy bouquet I made for a dear client. She wanted some thing that would satisfy a sweet tooth, but wanted to take it up a notch more than the regular box of chocolates.

I 'fatherised' the bouquet box a bit with a collar and tie, and add a customised card in the middle with all his favourite candy. If that doesn't spell special what does? :)

HAPPY FATHER's DAY to all you wonderful men out there! :))

Teacher appreciation gifts

It's end of school term here in sunny Singapore.  A time to thank all those wonderful teachers who's helped your children throughout the term :)

These are some of the gifts I made for clients this past week.

Thanks a 'Latte' gift

A Starbucks coffee cup with Lindt dark chocolate and a Starbucks gift card nestled inside the candy. Tie it all up pretty with cellophane paper and a bow and a cute little gift tag!

Look at that view. Candy rolling out, a cheerful gift card ensuring you a nice supply of caffeine....yummmm...I think these gifts rock. They are useful, they are heartfelt and they are simple!

'Thanks for helping me grow' gift

Another client wanted to give pretty potted plants to the teachers. I spruced them up with a gift tag, and voila, a little something for the teachers to remember you by.

Plus it's a green gift!

Appreciation gifts are fun to make. Because you know someone will be receiving them with a big smile on their faces :)

Lego Favor boxes

I went through this stage in my life where I LOOOVVVEED Legos. Then I had kids, and I bought them Legos. And then I HATED Legos. They found themselves under sofas, behind cupboards, and any other place which require me to go on all fours and retrieve them.

Now Legos and me are on a Cold War basis. We keep out of each others way. As best as we can. The kids love it.

So these favour boxes are dedicated to them. To my kiddos, without whom I would have finished making these boxes a few hours earlier ;)

These Lego favour boxes would be awesome for a Lego party. Can do Lego invites too.

The size and colour can be customised. In fact, these boxes/bag/invites would brighten up any party!

Say thank you with with flowers and chocolate...

    • grateful
      ˈgreɪtfʊl,-f(ə)l/
      adjective
      1. feeling or showing an appreciation for something done or received.
"I'm grateful to you for all your help"
        synonyms:thankful, filled with gratitude, appreciative;
        • archaic
received or experienced with gratitude; welcome.
          "the grateful shade"

Feeling grateful for something in your life? Need to say thank you to someone?

Do it with a simple thank you gift. To brighten up their day.

This is something I made for a lovely client of mine. She wanted customised thank-you envelopes with gift tags.

The envelopes were made for to size. Enough to accommodate two little gifts. Scroll down to see what!

Each envelope had a Hersheys bar and a handmade flower with a funky 'straw' stem and leaf on them. Because hey, chocolate and flowers never fails to impress right?

I took this shot after I finished doing the flowers and was waiting for the glue to dry and I had to keep the flowers upright. They make a happy picture don't they?

Fathers Day Gifts

When I was growing up, there was no Fathers Day or Mothers Day awareness.  Parents just 'parented' their little wards day and night. They got appreciation in the form of a hug or a kiss, sometimes. And sometimes, well sometimes, it was what it was :)

With Fathers Day around the corner, June 15th to be exact, I though I'd create these cute lil macho Father figure gift sleeves. To celebrate the Dad, the breadwinner, the pillar of every family, the one who helps you escape Mom's wrath :)

Come on admit it, you smiled a little when you saw these. They can be opened and there is a space for a hand-written note from you, and a place to stick the gift card. It simple and classy.

Can be customised to different colours.

For enquiries, please call/SMS/Whatsapp me at 94872617. You can also drop me an email to maria.francis@gmail.com

If you have bought a gift for your Dad, skip the traditional packaging this time and get him one of these uber-stylish customised envelopes. They are "Tie-rific" !!! ;)

The envelope in the pic is A4 sized. Envelope size can be customised to any regular envelope size. And colours can be customised too.

For enquiries, please call/SMS/Whatsapp me at 94872617. You can also drop me an email to maria.francis@gmail.com

Or go all minimalistic, and present him with a 'shirt-card', with a little surprise in the pocket. Enough space for a gift card in there. Or a note or card from you.

These can be customised too.
